Majority of people in our society today treats people with physical disabilities in an unworthy manners.

Looking at the meaning of the duo,it's very distinct from each other. *A physical disability is a limitation on a person's physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina*.
While *Mental disability is a behavioral or mental pattern that causes significant distress or impairment of personal functioning.*

However, it's pathetic that people with disabilities are considered as the people of the lower class and not given any chance to showcase what they have upstairs.

In politics,it's a waste of time if that kind of peoples are aspiring for a post because people will show little or no interest which would impede and retrogress his political ambition.

They were stigmatized in the society today for who they think they are.

In my curiosity to know more about people who are physically challenged I got to know how life have been so miserable for most and why many died of depression.

In an interrogation with a woman with an amputated leg,she expressed the pains she goes through in relating with other people around.
_"I find it difficult to mingle with people I used to mingle with before an accident occurred which led to the amputation of one of my legs. People don't even want me in their company at all"_

_"sometimes,I cry and feel like committing suicide,my husband has divorced me and little of members of my relatives show me love"_

Also,Mr badmus olowookere, who's also crippled expressed the kinds of jests his friends make of him.

_" my friends classed me as a wild animal who cannot live among human beings. I cry alot and think if I have offended God in one way or the other because the hatreds are becoming unbearable"_

But this doesn't ends here, there are thousands and millions of people who the world have in one way or the other say no to but through their abilities they turn their disabilities to acceptability.

For instance, Dr Joel olayinka ayefele who suffers from spinal cord break, despite that, he owns 3 radio stations. You could imagine how  fresh 105.9 fm have been one the best radio station in Nigeria, and not only that, he sings.

Another instance is Sosoliso plane crash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi who graduated with a First Class degree from University of Thomas Houston, Texas on May 16th, 2015. Not only that, she was inducted into 6 academic honor societies, was also the most Outstanding student for her major in Economics and has already been accepted into graduate school for her MBA. She was also chosen to give the commencement address to the class of 2015 at her school.

That alone could arouse you today and change your stance on physically disabled people, has they are not mentally disabled.
